Using Adobe Acrobat Reader

The Full Text displays in the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The buttons within Adobe Reader are described below. For help using the AABD toolbar above the full text, see Navigating the Full Text.

Icon Description
Prints the current page to your default printer.
Displays only the page. (See the next two buttons.)
Displays the page on the right and bookmarks, or sections, on the left. Because AABD displays the full text page by page, no bookmarks will appear.
Displays the page on the right and thumbnails of pages on the left. Because AABD displays one page at a time, only one thumbnail will appear.
This button will not be active within AABD.
Selects the hand tool, which you can use to move the page up or down (a hand will appear). Click on the page and move your mouse to shift the page (the hand will appear to "grab" the page). Release the click button once you have finished positioning the page.
Selects the zoom-in tool. You can click on the page to zoom-in, or select a text section to enlarge by dragging the zoom-in tool over the text.
Selects the zoom-out tool. You can click on the page to zoom-out, or select a text section to shrink by dragging the zoom-out tool over the text.
Selects the text selection tool, which allows you to select text on the current page by highlighting it.
These buttons will not be active within AABD. Use the AABD Toolbar above Adobe Reader to navigate the full text.
If you have zoomed in or out or otherwise changed the page view, this button will return to the previous view of the page.
If you are displaying a previous page view (see above), this button will move to the next view of the page.
Sets the zoom of the document to 100%.
Fits the current page inside the window.
Fits the with of the current page inside the window.
Allows you to find a word on the current page.
After you have found a word on the current page, this button jumps to the next occurrence of the word on that page.
These buttons will not be active within AABD. Use the AABD Toolbar above Adobe Reader to navigate the full text.
